PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based polymer alloy composition excellent in heat sealability, a film comprising the composition, a packaging material including the film, and a method for producing the composition.SOLUTION: The ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based polymer alloy composition comprises a mixture of 85.5-91.5 mass% of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer and 8.5-14.5 mass% of an ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer, and ensures a heat seal strength of a bag stipulated by JIS Z0238 of ≥450 gf/15 mm.
