feeding a product along a product feed direction by means of a product feed through a cutting plane in which at least one cutting blade moves in a rotary manner, a revolving manner, or a combination thereof; monitoring a quality of product slices generated as the at least one cutting blade slices the product; and automatically adjusting a position of the at least one cutting blade relative to the product based on the quality of the product slices for optimization of wear of the at least one cutting blade. |
