PURPOSE: A method for producing bio ethanol using endoglucanase is provided to ensure excellent cellulose decomposition activity and to produce bio ethanol from ligneous biomass. CONSTITUTION: An endoglucanase is denoted by amino acid of sequence number 1 and is expressed from Phoma sp. strain. A polynuclease encoding the endoglucanase is denoted by base of sequence number 2. An expression vector contains the polynucleotide and TFP(translational fusion partner). A method for producing the bio ethanol comprises: a step of transducing the expression vector to a host cell with an ethanol fermentation ability to prepare a transformant; a step of culturing the transformant in a culture medium containing an endoglucanase substrate; and a step of collecting bio ethanol from the culture or culture supernatant. |
