PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact cushioning structure and an impact cushioning module using the same capable of performing a maximum absorption of energy in a stable manner with time so as to prevent a load applied to a human body from exceeding the maximum value of tolerance of a human body in which a load-displacement curve at the time of application of shock load shows a so-called rectangular wave.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an impact cushioning structure comprising at least one impact receiving member and a supporting member disposed at an upstream side or a downstream side of the impact receiving member with respect to an impact applying direction and having at least one press-in hole capable of pressing in the impact receiving member characterized in that at least any one of the impact receiving member and the supporting member is made of a resin composition, and both strength and rigidity of the supporting member are equivalent to or more than strength and rigidity of the impact receiving member.
