The present invention relates to a luggage cover system for a motor vehicle, comprising a device (10) for covering the main portion of the luggage compartment thereof, and a covering panel (20) that is able to permanently cover the complementary portion of said compartment, said complementary portion being located between said covering device (10) and the backrest (2) of a rear seat of said vehicle that is adjustable in longitudinal translation and/or in inclination, said panel consisting of a rigid flap (20) that is mounted so as to pivot at the front of said covering device (10) between a deployed position corresponding to the furthest forward and most upright configuration of said backrest (2) and a folded-down position corresponding to the furthest back and most rearwardly inclined configuration thereof, said system also comprising at least one supporting stop (30), made of an elastically deformable material, which is secured to said covering device (10) and exerts a return force on said flap (20), permanently urging it toward said deployed position. |
