<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the shut-down period of a digital protection controller while improving emergency maintenance by predicting failure of the digital protection controller in advance so that preventive maintenance is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The digital protection controller is formed by mounting a semiconductor circuit performing protective control operation of a power system by receiving the current/voltage data of the power system on a main CPU substrate 2 or an FD-CPU substrate 3. A means 8 for detecting the aging deterioration of components constituting the semiconductor circuit of the main CPU substrate 2 or the FD-CPU substrate 3 is mounted on their substrates and a means for outputting the impairment data detected by the impairment detection means to the outside of the substrate is provided so that preventive maintenance is performed by predicting the failure in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
