摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a braking device for an elevator hoisting device capable of facilitating a stroke adjustment of a shoe. <P>SOLUTION: A pull back rubber 9 is mounted on a guide member 20 and one end of the pull back rubber 9 is made to abut on the shoe 6. A recessed part extending in the stroke direction of a spherical bolt 5 is provided on a back face of the shoe 6, and a spherical seat 8 is movably fitted in the recessed part of the shoe 6. A cushion rubber 7 is provided between the recessed part of the shoe 6 and a bottom face of the spherical seat 8. During braking, the shoe 6 is extruded by the spherical bolt 5 and proceeds toward a drum 1. Rotation is braked by the shoe 6 pressing the drum 1. At this time, accompanying the procession of the shoe 6, the pull back rubber 9 is elastically deformed in a V-shape. During non-braking, the shoe 6 recedes from the drum 1 accompanying elastic recovery of the pull back rubber 9.
