<p>An automotive charging system apparatus designed to check and test alternator assembly whether installed or uninstalled in a vehicle. Said apparatus comprising a main framing, a tubular frame welded to upper edge of said main framing, a panel board securely mounted to said tubular frame, a 220 volts alternating current drive motor securely bolted on top of said main framing, an alternator clamp securely bolted on top of said main framing, a battery carrier welded to bottom portion said main framing, a battery securely place to said battery carrier, and a plurality of wheel casters securely fastened to each bottom comer of said main framing. Said alternator clamp is used to hold an alternator under test and driven by a drive motor being provided with drive belt for driving said alternator. The tension of the drive belt is adjusted using tension lever pivotally mounted to said alternator clamp. Said panel board is provided with a DC ammeter used for measuring charging current, a DC voltmeter used for measuring charging voltage, an ignition switch used to energize the system, a charge indicator light used to check charging status, a voltage regulator used to regulate charging voltage and current of the system, and a plurality of female terminal used for testing the operation of said alternator.</p> |
