摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the rise of temperature in a stator coil by reducing an eddy current loss in a winding wire in an axial gap power generation body employing a flat wire as the winding wire of the stator coil.SOLUTION: An axial gap power generation body comprises a rotor (22) in which a plurality of magnets are arrayed in a circumferential direction, and stators (23A and 23B) in which a plurality of coils each formed by winding a flat wire around a core are arrayed in the circumferential direction. The plurality of stators (23A and 23B) are prepared with different protruding amounts of cores (233) from end faces of winding wires (234) formed from flat wires. For each protruding amount of the core, properties of a DC voltage and generation power which are generated by the power generation body when a winding wire current is changed, are calculated and on the basis of the obtained properties, such a protruding amount as to obtain a minimum required DC voltage or generation power is found out. On the basis of the protruding amount, a dimension of the core (233) is set.
