Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for scheduling a command queue of a solid state drive (SSD). The apparatus for scheduling the command queue of the SSD may comprise a scheduling unit to schedule an execution order of the command based on at least one of numbers of information hit in a buffer of the SSD among information included in the command, the size of the command, and the type of the command stored in the command queue of the SSD.
