PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a base board at the edge of a triangular board for drop or fall prevention disposed in the corner of a stair opening part. ! SOLUTION: A base board assembly (10) for a stair handrail frame includes: a plate-like base board body (11) disposed along a beam material (6a) of a stair handrail frame (6); a pivot part (15) disposed at the end of the base board body and including a pivot axis (γ) extended in the vertical direction; and a plate-like extension part (12) pivotally connected to the base board body through the pivot part. The base board can be formed in a triangular board (7) for drop prevention disposed at a corner (B) of the stair opening part, by making the extension part pivot mainly on a pivot axis by the pivot part and expanding the extension part to the side of the stair opening part (A). !
