PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing a label slip and a method for producing the label slip by the apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the label slip produces the label slip from a strip-like label paper sheet where a lot of unit labels are joined with each other. In the label paper sheet, a first label base paper sheet is stuck onto the peeling surface of a peeling paper sheet via an adhesive layer and a second label base paper sheet is stuck onto the first label base paper sheet via the adhesive layer that can be peeled but cannot be stuck again and further a first cutting starting from a second label base paper surface and reaching the peeling surface and a second cutting starting from the second label base paper surface and reaching the first label base paper sheet are formed. The apparatus for producing the label slip has at least a label paper sheet supply section, a first waste removal section for peeling and winding up an unnecessary part by the first cutting and a second waste removal section for peeling and winding up the unnecessary part by the second cutting and further an adhesive applying section is provided just in front of the second waste removal section.
