The purpose of the present invention is to allow a user to easily and visually identify the musical performance data to play back. When a performer is performing on a musical instrument (100), an image capture device (200) captures an image of the act of the musical performance. Concurrently, musical performance data representing the musical performance is stored in a musical performance recording server device (400) together with the date and time of the musical performance. Image data representing the image is stored in an image recording server device (300) together with the date and time of the musical performance. When the user wishes to play back a musical performance, the user visually selects an image taken during the desired musical performance from among images recorded in the image recording server device (300). The musical performance recording server device (400) identifies data for a musical performance on a date and time close to the date and time that the selected image was taken, and the musical instrument (100) plays back the musical performance on the basis of the musical performance data. |
