PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a transmission type sea area control structure, capable of constructing the transmission type sea area control structure comprising a transmission type dam body having an opening advantageously in terms of safety and economy without using a large-sized crane ship. SOLUTION: The construction method of the transmission type sea area control structure is for constructing the transmission type sea area control structure comprising a transmission type dam body 11 including openings respectively on an upper surface, a bottom surface, a front surface and a rear surface so as to be communicated to a void inside and having a breakwater performance and a foundation structure including a plurality of foundation piles for supporting the dam body. At least a part 53 of the foundation piles is installed, the dam body is transported to the water area of an installation object on an auxiliary floating body J which can be settled, the dam body is settled underwater together with the auxiliary floating body and installed to the installed foundation piles, the auxiliary floating body is settled further and moved after being separated from the dam body, and when there are the foundation piles whose installation is not completed among the plurality of foundation piles, they are installed.
