PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer that reduces the time and effort for cleaning a conveyance path of label paper and surely removes deposits.SOLUTION: The label printer 1A includes: a platen roller 3 for conveying a long sheet of label paper 12 pasted with labels 11 are along in the longitudinal direction; and a print head 4A for performing printing on the labels 11. The label printer is configured to execute a cleaning mode in which deposits such as adhesive components, deposited on a substrate 41A of the print head 4A constituting a conveyance path of the label paper 12, are heated by heating control of the deposits by the print head 4A, the heated deposits are peeled-off from the substrate 41A by conveyance control of the label paper 12 by the platen roller 3, and the deposits are deposited on the labels 11. |
