<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether a power supply source to a load is a high voltage battery or a low voltage battery. <P>SOLUTION: A DC-DC converter 100 includes: a voltage conversion section 16 for switching a DC voltage of a high voltage battery 1 into a low DC voltage; a voltage detection section 17 for detecting an output voltage of the voltage conversion section 16; and a control section 18 for determining whether or not the voltage detected by the voltage detection section 17 includes ripples. The control section 18 determines that the power supply source is the high voltage battery 1 if the voltage detected by the voltage detection section 17 includes ripples, and determines that the power supply source is a low voltage battery 2 if the voltage detected by the voltage detection section 17 does not include ripples. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
