PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility that the amount of hydrogen to be supplied to a fuel cell body becomes insufficient.SOLUTION: The fuel cell power generation system comprises a fuel cell body 2, a fuel electrode exhaust air flow rate regulation valve 12, an air blower 4, a combustor 5, a combustion temperature sensor 13, and a controller 51. The fuel cell body 2 generates electric power by using hydrogen supplied to a fuel electrode 41 and oxygen supplied to an air electrode 42. The fuel electrode exhaust air flow rate regulation valve 12 regulates the amount of hydrogen supplied to the fuel electrode 41. The air blower 4 supplies oxygen to the air electrode 42. The combustor 5 burns gas exhausted from the fuel electrode 41. The combustion temperature sensor 13 measures the temperature of combustion gas in the combustor 5. The controller 51 opens the fuel electrode exhaust air flow rate regulation valve 12 when the temperature measured by the combustion temperature sensor 13 goes below a theoretical adiabatic temperature of combustion corresponding to a target fuel utilization rate. |
