METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CIRCUIT-SWITCHED FALLBACK

Disclosed are a method, UE, MSC, and MME for circuit-switched fallback (CSFB). The method comprises: the UE transmits to the MME a request message requesting for execution of CSFB; the UE receives a handover command transmitted by an eNodeB, where the handover command instructs the UE to be handed over from a PS domain to a CS domain; when the UE is handed over to the CS domain on the basis of the handover command, a default CS call of the UE is either released or maintained, where the default CS call is generated by the UE on the basis of the handover command; and, the UE initiates a CS call or receives a CS call via the MSC. The method, UE, MSC, and MME of embodiments of the present invention are capable of implementing CSFB by means of handover of the UE from the PS domain to the CS domain, thus reducing delay.
