<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device using a phosphor, and a projector including the same.SOLUTION: A light source device includes a light source, phosphor layer, and movement mechanism. The light source emits excitation light in a first wavelength region. The phosphor layer includes a phosphor and silicone-based binder, and upon incident of the excitation light, transmits a part of the excitation light and emits light having a second wavelength region longer than the first wavelength region. The phosphor layer combines the transmitted excitation light and the emitted light having the second wavelength region and emits the combined light. The movement mechanism moves the position on the phosphor layer irradiated with the excitation light over time.</p> |
