<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means supporting a residual-culm processing device with respect to a traveling car body in a state having no possibility of deteriorating a sealing performance in a hydrostatic drive system of a lifting/lowering drive device, the residual-culm processing device shredding the residual culm after corn crops have been harvested from the standing culm.SOLUTION: The corn harvesting machine includes: a culm processing device 5 for shredding culm parts after the crops have been harvested; a lifting/lowering drive device 8 capable of changing the vertical position of the residual-culm processing device 5 with respect to a car body frame 10; and a fixing mechanism 9 supporting the residual-culm processing device with respect to the car body frame 10 so as to fix the residual-culm processing device 5 at a lifted position separated from the ground.</p> |
