<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of achieving cost reduction.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 includes: a compressor 2; a condenser 3 cooling a refrigerant compressed by the compressor 2; a decompressor decompressing the refrigerant cooled by the condenser 3; an evaporator 5 evaporating the refrigerant decompressed by the decompressor; and an intermediate heat exchanger 6. The intermediate heat exchanger 6 includes a high-temperature-side refrigerant path 7 and a low-temperature-side refrigerant path 8, and implements heat exchange between the high-pressure refrigerant discharged from the condenser 3 and flowing in the high-temperature-side refrigerant path 7 and the low-pressure refrigerant discharged from the evaporator 5 and flowing in the low-temperature-side refrigerant path 8. The compressor 2 is formed of a variable displacement compressor and the decompressor is formed of a fixed throttle.</p> |
