PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetron drive power source capable of stabilizing a cathode current on a magnetron and reducing the time of start-up control even when controlling a wide range conversion power on inverter circuit.SOLUTION: The magnetron drive power source for supplying a current from a tertiary winding 33 of a step-up transformer 3 to a cathode 11 of a magnetron 1 via a resonance element 8 includes: a first resonance capacitor 81 and a second resonance capacitor 82 in the resonance element 8. A relay 83 switches between start-up control and ordinary control to change the resonance frequency.
