PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of suppressing slide resistance between members moving relatively into a small level in order to provide shock absorption upon secondary collision.SOLUTION: A suspended member 25 is inserted into a long groove 31 on a fixed bracket 23 and an insertion hole 33 on a movable bracket 24. The suspended member 25 may move along with the long groove 31 together with the movable bracket 24 upon secondary collision. In the suspended member 25, a slide plate 43 is arranged between a part (a head part 52) opposing to an edge 31C of the long groove 31 on the fixed bracket 23 and the fixed bracket 23. The slide plate 43 may move together with the suspended member 25 by sliding relative to the fixed bracket 23 upon secondary collision. On at least either one of the edge 31C of the long groove 31 on the fixed bracket 23 and a sliding part (a sliding surface 43A) sliding relative to the edge 31C on the slide plate 43, R chamfering parts 80, 82 are formed. |
