PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soft magnetic flat powder which, when is used as a magnetic sheet, has excellent smoothness on the sheet surface and can achieve high magnetic permeability, and also to provide the magnetic sheet having high magnetic permeability using the same and a method of manufacturing this soft magnetic flat power.SOLUTION: Disclosed is soft magnetic flat power for a magnetic sheet having excellent smoothness on the sheet surface and high magnetic permeability, which is soft powder obtained by flattening and processing soft powder and characterized in that the average particle diameter is 40 to 53 μm, the ratio of the tap density to the true density is 0.20 to 0.23, the average aspect ratio is 10 to 40, the average thickness is 1.6 to 3.1 μm, the oxygen content is 0.16 to 0.48 mass% and the nitrogen contact is 10 to 250 ppm. The high magnetic permeability magnetic sheet using the soft magnetic flat powder and a method of manufacturing this soft magnetic flat powder are provided.
