<p>Disclosed are a radar device and a method for estimating an azimuth in a radar device. The radar device comprises an arrangement antenna, and an azimuth estimation unit to estimate an azimuth of a target using a receiving signal. The azimuth estimation unit searches for multiple azimuth candidate groups from various combinations of the arrangement antenna to detect an actual azimuth by determining whether there is duplication, or searches for an azimuth candidate group from a single combination of the arrangement antenna to detect a final azimuth using another combination of the arrangement antenna, thereby estimating an actual azimuth even in a grating lobe circumstance, reducing the signal processing time by reducing the number of antennas in azimuth estimation, and promptly and accurately estimating the azimuth with a few operations by reducing the operation burden.</p> |
