The present invention relates to a signal source location estimation device using a mobile sensor and a method for controlling the same. The signal source location estimation device comprises: a receiving unit to receive location information of a mobile sensor which is changed along a moving path and direction information of a signal source which is measured by the mobile sensor; and a control unit to receive and manage sensor data consisting of the location information of the mobile sensor and the direction information of the signal source which are received by the receiving unit, to derive a new estimation result of the location of the signal source using a pair of new sensor data which are newly received from the receiving unit and managed, to delete the pair of sensor data used to derive the estimation result, and to update a previous estimation result using the new estimation result. Therefore, the device of the present invention can reduce the amount of calculation and increase a calculation speed while maintaining a conventional offline location estimation performance by reducing the burden of data processing according to a conventional offline location estimation method.
