<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that improvement of reliability is difficult for a conventional liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device includes a first substrate 93, a second substrate opposed to the first substrate 93, liquid crystal held between the first substrate 93 and second substrate, a plurality of pixels, a reflective film provided between the first substrate 93 and liquid crystal corresponding to the pixels and reflecting light traveling from the liquid crystal toward the first substrate 93 to the side of the second substrate, a protective film 101 covering the surface of the reflective film on the side of the liquid crystal, a switching element provided between the first substrate 93 and reflective film corresponding to the pixels, wiring 89 provided between the first substrate 93 and reflective film and transmitting an electric signal for controlling driving of the liquid crystal to the switching element, a contact hole 155 penetrating the protective film 101, and a terminal electrode 87 provided so as to overlap the contact hole 155 and receiving the electric signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
