PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the roof structure of a building, in which the opening and closing of a door in an entrance and the safety of the passage of persons are ensured by preventing a thunderbolt in the vicinity of the entrance for a building, appearance is also improved and the degree of freedom on the design of the appearance of the whole building is enhanced. SOLUTION: A projecting section 5 for removing snow having an approximately perpendicular 8 facing the edges of eaves 6 of a roof 3 and two incline planes 14, 15, in which sectional shapes are formed in an inverted V-shaped chevron shape, in an upper section is formed to the top face 4 of the roof 3 having a pitch so as to be placed at a section upper than an entrance 16 for the building 2. The length of the base 7 of the approximately perpendicular 8 facing the edge of the eaves 6 is formed in size longer than the width of the entrance 16 for the building 2.
