FIRE EXTINGUISHING APPARATUS, AND CARGO FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME

A fire extinguishing device and a cargo tank fire extinguishing system including the same are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the fire extinguishing device comprises: a case including an open one end part on the bottom and the other end part on the top; a fuse blocking the one end part; a first contact part and a second contact part which are arranged in the case to be apart at predetermined distance and transmit a fire signal when coming in contact with each other; a blocking plate provided on a lower part of the second contact part; and a rupture disc blocking the other end part. The one end part is connected with a gas supplying pipe which supplies gas for extinguishing fire. When a fire breaks out, the blocking plate is increased by the pressure of gas introduced into the case through the gas supplying pipe so that the first contact part and the second contact part are in contact with each other. So, a fire signal is transmitted to the outside and the gas is discharged to the outside of the case through the case, thereby extinguishing a fire.
