<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent composite material having a stronger emission peak in a desired wavelength range due to excitation by ultraviolet light or visible light.SOLUTION: There is provided a composite material composed of a glass powder and a fluorescent substance, wherein the glass powder contains, in mole% on an oxide basis, 10 to 50% of LnO(Ln represents at least one selected from La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb and Lu). A fluorescent member is preferably obtained from the composite material.</p> |
