PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for improved signaling using high level syntax for multi-view video coding and decoding.SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises an encoder for encoding at least one picture for at least one view corresponding to multi-view video content in an obtained bitstream. The encoder instructs at least video coding order information for the at least one picture in high level syntax.
