The present invention relates to a method for blocking UV rays on a cellulose-based fiber material, wherein the method comprises a pre-treating step of refining and whitening the cellulose-based fiber material; and a UV blocking step of processing the cellulose-based fiber material through a processing agent including a class 4 ammonium-based derivative and a water-dispersing inorganic-based compound and treating the same at 60-130°C for 30-80 minutes in conditions including 0.05-5% owf of the class 4 ammonium-based derivative and 0.01-20% owf of the water-dispersing inorganic-based compound.
