The present invention relates to a cooling and temperature controlling system for transmission oil, which includes an oil cooler cooling transmission oil; an oil circulation line providing a circulation path which resupplies the transmission oil discharged from the transmission to the transmission by passing the oil cooler; and an oil preheat selection unit installed at the oil circulation line, making the transmission oil discharged from the transmission bypass the oil cooler if the transmission oil temperature is equal to or less than a predetermined temperature, and making the transmission oil pass the oil cooler if the transmission oil temperature is greater than the predetermined temperature. According to the present invention, if temperature is low as in a winter season, subcooling of the transmission oil is prevented and rapid preheating of the transmission oil is possible to constantly maintain transmission performance. Fuel over-spraying time for raising engine temperature up to an optimal level is shortened to reduce idle fuel consumption amount, to improve fuel efficiency by shortening the over-spraying time while driving, and to have an excellent cooling efficiency to prevent overheating of the transmission oil. An overstroke of a thermostat is prevented for excellent operation reliability. The cost and space required for installation are minimized to improve economic feasibility and solve limitation of the installation space. A valve cap for opening and closing an inner space of a main body in which a thermostat and the like are installed is fixed with a snap ring to easily change and set the thermostat in a preferred temperature range. |
