<p>Methods and computing systems are disclosed for enhancing survey data collection. In one embodiment, a method is performed that includes deploying an array of marine seismic streamers, wherein respective streamers in the array include a plurality of seismic receivers; towing the array of marine seismic streamers; actively steering the array of marine seismic streamers; and while actively steering the array of marine seismic streamers, maintaining a tow-depth profile for the array such that the plurality of seismic receivers are configured to acquire seismic data having a receiver ghost response frequency that varies linearly.</p> |
