PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved pipe connecting device in which a sealing portion by a basic end portion of an inner ring and a pipe joint body is properly functioned, and excessive diameter-reducing deformation is not found on a tip portion of the inner ring.SOLUTION: In a pipe connecting device having a pipe joint body 1, a union nut 2, and an inner ring 3 press-fitted to a tube end, a seal element portion y is formed on a basic end portion of the inner ring 3, a seal forming portion k is formed on the pipe joint body 1, and the seal element portion y and the seal forming portion k are pressed to each other in an assembled state. A diameter-reduced tube part 4c externally fitted to a narrowed diameter-reduced outer peripheral face 3c, of a tube end portion 4C and a cylindrical screwing portion 1A are constituted to be pressed to or separated from each other with a contact pressure lower than a contact pressure between the seal element portion y and the seal forming portion k. |
