<p>The present invention relates to a cross-sectional blood vessel image acquisition system and a method thereof. The cross-sectional image acquisition system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a micro-catheter which is inserted into a blood vessel to aid in the advancement of another catheter; a micro-wire which is inserted into the blood vessel to guide the advancing direction of the catheter connected to the micro-wire; the OCT imaging catheter which includes an optical fiber and is connected to the micro-wire to be inserted into the blood vessel in the advancing detection of the micro-wire; and an cross-sectional optical interference imaging module which acquires the data regarding the reflection of the light emitted from the OCT imaging catheter to convert the data into a cross-sectional blood vessel image.</p>
