<p>The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a control method thereof and, more specifically, to a mobile terminal capable of calling various functions conveniently and to a control method thereof. To realize such, a mobile terminal related to an embodiment of the present invention can include a touch screen, and a control unit which, when a touch input that starts at the bottom of the touch screen and is dragged in an upward direction is detected, displays at least one icon on the touch screen; and if the touch input is released on at least one among the icons, controls to execute a function corresponding to the icon on which the touch input is released. Here, while the touch input remains on at least one among the icons, the control unit can control to display the data regarding the function corresponding to the icon on which the touch input remains.</p> |
