PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamond composite enabling performance of a diamond tool to be improved, a single crystal diamond, methods of producing these, and the diamond tool with the single crystal diamond.SOLUTION: The method of producing the diamond composite includes the steps of: preparing a diamond seed crystal including a plurality of growth sectors 21, 22; and obtaining a diamond composite 30 by growing a single crystal diamond on a surface 20a of a diamond seed crystal 20 by a vapor-phase synthesis method. The step of obtaining the diamond composite includes a temperature raising step of heating the diamond seed crystal 20 before a growth temperature of the single crystal diamond 10 is reached. In the temperature raising step, the diamond seed crystal 20 is heated in an atmosphere including at least one of a methane gas and an inert gas.
