The present invention relates to a solid electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a solid electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery which is composed of a solid solution formed by adding a group 5 element oxide to a LAGP type solid electrolyte and thus whose ion conductivity is improved and a manufacturing method thereof.
