The present invention relates to a display device and a searching method. The display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a reception unit for receiving a broadcast signal; a display unit for displaying content included the received broadcast signal; a communication unit for transmitting a first keyword for the content and the title of the content to a searching server, and receiving a search result based on the first keyword and the title of the content from the searching server; and a control unit for displaying multiple candidates for a keyword by extracting the candidates for a keyword from the search result, and searching for a second keyword by transmitting a second keyword to the searching server through the communication unit when the second keyword among the candidates for a keyword is selected.
