<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch an MCU (Multi-point Control Unit) without disconnecting a call when MCU stop, MCU throughput reduction or communication quality reduction occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A network control system includes: a plurality of communication terminals; a first media synthesis means for synthesizing a plurality of received media data items for transmission; a first relay means disposed between the plurality of communication terminals and the first media synthesis means for transmitting to the first media synthesis means only required media data among the media data from the plurality of communication terminals; a second relay means disposed between the first media synthesis means and the plurality of communication terminals for copying synthesized media data from the first media synthesis means as many as the number of the plurality of communication terminals for distribution to the plurality of communication terminals; and a switching means for periodically acquiring state information from the first media synthesis means, the first relay means and the second relay means and switching from the first media synthesis means to the second media synthesis means as a destination of switching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
