<p>The present invention relates to a shank of a spot welding gun and, more specifically, to a shank of a spot welding gun capable of preventing cooling water in a shank from being discharged when a tip is detached, preventing welding defect generated when the shank directly comes in contact with a base material which is an object to be spot welded, and preventing the tip from being detached due to heat expansion of the shank. To this end, the shank of a spot welding gun comprises: a shank which is mounted on an arm of a welding robot and has a hollow so that the center is penetrated; a cooling water passage which is provided in the hollow of the shank to form the passage of the cooling water; and a tip part which is coupled to the outside of the tip end of the shank to seal the hollow.</p> |
