The present invention relates to a lighting apparatus having a radiation angle limiting shield to be able to prevent the contamination of the light by blocking the light leaking out of a lighting area to be projected to limit the lighting area. The lighting apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a lamp housing which is connected and fixed to the end of an arm pole of a lighting lamp; a transparent back cover which is installed in the front of a lamp housing; a waterproof packing which is installed along the periphery of a bonding surface of the transparent back cover to be in close contact with the lamp housing; and a radiation angle limiting shield which is attached to the lighting lamp to prevent the contamination of the light by blocking excessive light to be emitted to a lighting restricted area.
