<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a shoe wiping mat capable of forming pile of an optional length without requiring an advanced doubling and twisting technique. <P>SOLUTION: A multifilament yarn A formed by bundling a plurality of core-in-sheath type monofilaments (a) which comprise core components formed from high-melting-point polymers and sheath components formed from low-melting-point polymers is prepared. On the other hand, a multifilament yarn B formed by bundling a plurality of monofilaments b which are formed from polymers with a melting point higher than the low-melting-point polymer is prepared. A doubling and twisting yarn formed by combining the multifilament yarns A and B is passed through a primary ground fabric to form a loop pile, and then the loop pile is cut to form cut piles, thus acquiring a pile original fabric. The pile original fabric is heat-treated to melt the low-melting-point polymers, and stick the core-in-sheath type monofilaments (a) which form the multifilament yarn A, to each other, thus converting the multifilament yarns A into the monofilament yarn. This shoe wiping mat having both of the monofilament yarns and the multifilament yarns B in the cut piles is provided as described above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
