[Class 12 (i)] [Also in Groups X, XXV, and XXX] A sliding door of the kind which is suspended on rectilinear-motion ball bearings is provided with runners 8 having V-shaped ball-engaging grooves 6, 7, and with fixed carriers 1 having concave ball-engaging grooves. The pairs of balls travel between pairs of pins 9, 10, passing through the runners. The suspension members 12, 13 have dovetail slots through which the bolts 16, 17 are passed, and the nuts 18, 19, bolt-heads 22, 23, and washers 20, 21 have rounded engaging surfaces to allow relative movement for vertical alignment of the door when mounting. |
