摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid mold that takes advantage of high strength of a steel material for a mold and high heat conductivity of a nonferrous metal body (a copper alloy body). <P>SOLUTION: At least a heat exchange area of a molding die 1 formed of a steel material for a mold is formed of a nonferrous metal body 3 (a copper alloy body 3A). The nonferrous metal body is provided with a cavity E and a product related part 7. A damageable load concentration area in a product-forming surface of the cavity and a cavity continuous part 3a of a parting line PL of the product related part are formed to have a thickness of several millimeters or less. A ferrous material having a fusion temperature higher than that of the nonferrous metal body is build-up welded on a thin part 13 by using a heat source of high energy density to cover the thin part with a ferrous build-up part 4. A finished iron material layer 4A is disposed on a surface of the ferrous build-up part and the damageable load concentration area of the nonferrous metal body is protected by the iron material layer.
