PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath water heater which prevents a bath water level sensor from erroneously detecting a water level lower than an actual water level of bath water after addition of high-temperature water and thereby unnecessary bath water refilling operation from being performed.SOLUTION: In a bath water heater provided with a control means 43 which performs bath water refilling operation for supplying hot water of preset temperature up to a prescribed amount or a target water level when water level of bath water monitored by a bath water level sensor 22 falls below the target water level, the control means 43 interrupts water level monitor by means of the bath water level sensor 22 when addition of high temperature water for supplying high temperature water to a bath tub 15 is started, after completion of addition of high temperature water, a bath circulation pump 18 is temporarily driven, hot water of the addition of high temperature water in a bath circulation circuit 17 is replaced to bath water and, thereafter, when a certain time T required until a temperature of the bath water level sensor 22 gets intimate with a temperature of the bath water elapses, the water level monitor by means of the bath water level sensor 22 is reopened. |
