<p>The present invention relates to a putter head. In the head (10) according to the present invention, an open portion (17) is formed so that the leading edge (16) of the hitting surface (12) formed on the front surface of the tip is separated from the ground surface, and the area in the height direction of the hitting surface (12) is constituted only by the area of a central hitting point (14). The rear end of the head (10), which corresponds to the area of the central hitting point (14), has a hexahedral shape, the inside of which is filled, and the upper surface (16) of the head (10) is a plane, the length of which is equal to 3/4 the diameter of a golf ball. An alignment line (20) extending along the upper surface (16) from the center of the central hitting point (14) is formed on the upper surface (16) so as to have a length that is equivalent to at least 3/4 of the diameter of a golf ball. According to the present invention, the length in the height direction of the hitting surface (12) of the head (10) includes only the area of the central hitting point (14) and, in addition, the alignment line (20) is formed on the upper surface (16) so that the golf ball can be hit at the center of gravity in an accurate direction and be accurately putted.</p> |
