PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument capable of improving quietness by making it easy to let out air in the back side of a heat at the time of beating.SOLUTION: A head 30 of a pad body PD is made of a material softer than a frame 40 and having elasticity. The vibration of the head 30 is transmitted to a percussion sensor through a forefront cushioning material layer of cushioning layers to be converted into electric signals. The head 30 includes a main beaten region to be mainly beaten, and its peripheral part is mounted to the peripheral part of the frame 40. A bent part is formed on the back sides of an upper part and a lower part of the peripheral part. A cutout part 33 with no bent part is formed on right and left sides portions in a connection part. The head 30 is mounted on the frame so that the plate comes into firm contact with a receiving surface. A space is formed between a step portion of the frame 40 and the cutout part 33 to open to right and left sides of the pad body PD to be an opening communicating to outer air. |
