<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a light emitting element and a light emitting device which have excellent characteristics and prevent the increase of the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate for a light emitting element 1 includes a base substrate 2 and a coating layer 3. The coating layer 3 is formed so as to contact with a surface of the base substrate 2. After the coating layer 3 is heated to 260°C, the coating layer 3 becomes transparent or translucent to visible light, or the coating layer 3 becomes white when the coating layer 3 is opaque to the visible light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
